This database contains life expectancy at birth and by age group for the 2010-2015 time period. Data are available for the United States, states, counties, and Census Tracts. Due to survey limitations, data are not available for all areas. County life expectancy averages reflect population-weighted calculations based on life expectancy in 2010-2015 and 2015 population in Census Tracts reported by the 5-Year American Community Survey. State averages reflect population-weighted values based on available counties, and the U.S. average reflects population-weighted values based on states.
